Phew! It's been some crazy, incredible past few weeks of ministry. At the peak, 7 services in 10 days. Here's a short recap of a few of our trips over the past few weeks:
Did a youth retreat for a youth group from Thunder Bay, Ontario who drove down four hours to meet us in Duluth. Had an incredible weekend teaching on Encountering God in our lives, sharing off Exodus 32-34. The Saturday night service went for over three hours as students sought God around the meeting hall. The final service closed with a teaching from Exodus 34 on Moses' face being radiant because he had been with God, and how we are radiant based on our proximity to Christ and that although Moses hid his radiance, we should not (see 2 Corinthians 3:7-18). We had a great time hanging out with the Canadian students and sightseeing in beautiful Duluth.
"Played" a preacher by preaching a two page sermon at an E-Night for our home church youth ministry. A close friend writes and produces these dramas that students and leaders act in, and does an incredible job. There were hundreds of students packing out the facility at this event.
Preached for an hour and a half at Word of Grace Fellowship in Milwaukee, WI this past Sunday. This is a church we have frequented several times over the years. They have incredible spiritual depth and are a thriving congregation that knows how to pray more than almost any ministry we've seen. Shared on taking "Steady Steps after the Savior" to acheive the great destiny that Christ has called us.
So far over the past month, 10 people have responded to accept Christ in our direct altar calls, and over 40 in the E-Night we were a part of at our home church youth ministry. There's a party in heaven!
Please continue to pray with us as I will be speaking at H2o student ministry in Kenosha, WI tomorrow night, then off to St. Louis, MO to assist with FM419, a student evangelism conference with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Rock the River.
