Thousands Join Us for Awaken
We have had the privilege of helping facilitate a weekend of worship for the Church in the Twin Cities with Matt Gilman from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO.
This worship gathering started with several churches from various denominations in the city of Bloomington, MN and quickly the desire for it was expressed by Pastors of many denominations across the Twin Cities - resulting in North Metro and South Metro gatherings - taking place this weekend, January 28-29, 2011.
Last night at our home church, Emmanuel Christian Center, thousands of people (including many young adults) joined for the first worship gathering, for hours of seeking the face of God! There was a very strong and evident sense of His work among us!
Tonight marks the second worship gathering for Awaken, in the South Metro of the Twin Cities at Bethany Church in Bloomington, MN.
I am especially excited about this South Metro gathering because Bethany Church was the home church of my favorite author, the late Leonard Ravenhill for many years and has an incredible legacy of catalyzing prayer and revival across the earth. To think that we'll be holding a prayer meeting in Ravenhill's old home church is thrilling!
